What is a Clarifying HydraFacial?

An invigorating treatment that includes all of the benefits of the Signature HydraFacial, and adds a high concentration of glycolic acid to target bacteria and purify the skin. The Clarifying HydraFacial at Results Medical Aesthetics & Wellness finishes with relaxing blue-light therapy to combat oily skin.

The HydraFacial treatment consists of three effective steps to give you a healthy glow, including:

Cleanse + Peel: Gentle exfoliation paired with relaxing resurfacing sloughs away dead skin cells.

Extract + Hydrate: Painless suction removed debris from pores, while intense moisturizers nourish and hydrate the skin.

Fuse+ Protect: Antioxidants and peptides are applied to the skin’s surface to maximize a healthy glow.

Who is a Candidate?

The Clarifying HydraFacial is ideal for those with oily skin who wish to combat acne, large or clogged pores, and impurities such as blackheads and whiteheads. The best way to determine if this treatment is right for your skincare goals is to schedule a consultation appointment at our office.

The Treatment

The Clarifying HydraFacial treatment is similar to that of the Signature HydraFacial, with an added concentration of glycolic acid to eliminate bacteria and cleanse the skin. During treatment, your skin willed be cleansed, exfoliated, extracted, and covered with rejuvenating serums for a healthy complexion. Treatment length will depend on the exact steps of your treatment.

Recovery

Like the Signature HydraFacial, there is no downtime required following a Clarifying HydraFacial. Some patients may experience mild redness and tightness for a few hours after treatment. For best results, avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment. You will be able to see an improvement in your skin immediately after your first session, but for prolonged results, it is recommended that patients receive a Clarifying HydraFacial treatment once every four weeks.
