What is Vollure?

Are you bothered by lines and folds that have begun to show around your nose and mouth? Juvéderm Vollure is a dermal filler formulated to correct these moderate to severe wrinkles and folds such as smile lines and nasolabial folds around the nose and mouth.  Containing hyaluronic acid (HA) gel, Vollure temporarily adds volume to facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance and a more youthful overall look.

Who is a Candidate?

Adults 21 years of age and older who are bothered by lines and folds around their nose and mouth can benefit from Vollure. Ideal candidates will have realistic expectations, and be sure that they are not pregnant or breastfeeding. Vollure Treatments

Before your Vollure treatment, you should call to schedule a consultation appointment with Dr. Bilbruck. During this appointment, she will evaluate your facial structure and skin, and review your medical history to create a personalized treatment plan for you.

To begin treatment, the skin will be cleansed and a topical numbing cream will be applied to ensure you are comfortable during injections. Vollure will then be skillfully injected into the specified areas using a fine needle to smooth lines and folds. Treatment can take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.

Vollure Results

The most common side effects following Vollure injections include mild swelling, bruising, itching, and redness at the treatment sites. These effects should resolve on their own with time. To help ensure the best possible results, patients should avoid strenuous activity, alcohol consumption, and prolonged exposure to the sun and heat for 24 hours. Results from Vollure can last up to 18 months.
