Who is a Candidate?

Healthy individuals who would like to experience the benefits of dermaplaning are often good candidates. However, You should not undergo this treatment if you have an active case of acne, cold sore breakouts, psoriasis, sunburn, or eczema in the treatment area. Treatment

Prior to your dermaplaning treatment, it is advised that you avoid exfoliating your skin for at least three days before, as well as avoiding direct sunlight and tanning.

During the dermaplaning treatment, a special scalpel will be dragged across the skin at a 45-degree angle. This will gently remove dead skin and hair for a smoother complexion. This also allows for improved penetration of skincare products for better absorption.

There is no downtime needed following dermaplaning, however, you may experience temporary mild redness or swelling from the scraping.
