What is Jeuveau?

Jeuveau is a neuromodulate injectable treatment similar to Botox®. It is used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows AKA glabellar lines. What sets this formula apart is that it contains prabotulinumtoxinA, while Botox contains onabotulinumtoxinA. Both are equally effective options for treating dynamic lines and wrinkles. This injectable has been proven to be effective to treat frown lines between the eyebrows, also called the “11s”.

Who is a Candidate?

Healthy individuals who are looking to smooth unwanted lines between their brows can often benefit from Jeuveau. However, you should not receive this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have bleeding or nerve problems, or have an active infection at the treatment site. Jeuveau Treatment

Prior to treatment, a consultation appointment is required to determine which areas of the face can be treated and/or if you are a good candidate. Dr. Bilibruck will assess your facial structure and skin in order to create a unique treatment plan for you.

During treatment, Jeuveau will be injected into the muscles that cause frown lines between your brows. No anesthesia is needed, though you may request a topical numbing cream to reduce any discomfort. Treatment is quick, taking 10-20 minutes to complete.

Jeuveau Results

There is little to no downtime required following Jeuveau treatments. While some patients may experience mild bruising or swelling at the treatment site, this will resolve fairly quickly.  You will be able to see an improvement in lines and creases as early as 2-3 days after treatment, with full results presenting after 7-10 days. Results generally last for 3-6 months.
