How does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal works by selectively heating the bulb of the hair, without damaging surrounding the tissue and skin. The laser beam passes through the skin, without causing damage. The beam is then absorbed by the hair follicle. The hair follicle absorbs the laser energy, which is then heated. The heat damages the follicle's papilla and cellular matrix, preventing the follicle from producing hair.
How many laser hair treatments are needed?
Hair growth goes through three stages, the first of which is the anagen stage. At this stage, the hair responds most effectively to treatment. For most people, about one-third of their hair will currently be in the angen stage. Therefore, for best results, about six treatments, each 4-6 weeks apart, produces the best and enduring results.
How much does laser hair removal cost?
Prices depend upon area to be treated and density. Results Medical Spa will clearly discuss the price during a (free) consultation, so that you have clear financial expectations. How safe is laser hair removal?

How is hair traditionally removed?
